The Government of Arunachal Pradesh, along with the National Health Mission (NHM), recently organized a 3-day comprehensive training program for Health & Wellness Officers on Tele-Medicine and Health Management Information System (HMIS) at Naharlagun, Papum Pare on 22nd, 23rd & 24th of May. This significant initiative was supported by YoloHealth, which provided advanced health kiosk technology for the training sessions.
The training program aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Health & Wellness Officers in using Tele-Medicine and HMIS to improve healthcare delivery in the region. The sessions were conducted using the state-of-the-art HealthATM, the trademark product of YoloHealth, ensuring that the participants could gain hands-on experience with the latest healthcare technologies.
The primary objectives of the training were to improve technological proficiency, enhance healthcare access, and streamline health management. The HealthATM enabled the officers to conduct remote consultations with medical professionals, access and update patient health records in real-time, and perform a range of diagnostic tests, providing instant results. This hands-on experience was invaluable in helping the officers understand the practical applications of the technology.
The training program was a resounding success, with participants expressing confidence in their ability to use tele-medicine and HMIS to improve patient care. The Government of Arunachal Pradesh and National Health Mission (NHM) plan to deploy these trained officers and advanced HealthATMs across the states at Health & Wellness Centers to ensure that high-quality healthcare is accessible to all. This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards modernizing healthcare delivery in Arunachal Pradesh.
