Healthcare Challenges
Residents of Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi, particularly those in underprivileged areas, have long faced significant challenges in accessing quality healthcare. The scarcity of medical facilities, coupled with the high costs of healthcare services, creates barriers for timely and effective medical intervention. In rural and semi-urban areas, these issues are worsened by a lack of awareness and education about health and hygiene, leading to the neglect of essential health needs. Women, in particular, suffer from inadequate health management and limited access to reproductive health services. The combination of these factors results in untreated health conditions and a higher incidence of preventable diseases.
Transformative Action
In a concerted effort to address these critical healthcare challenges, Impact Guru Foundation, an NGO dedicated to healthcare aid, partnered with YoloHealth to install 44 Health Kiosks across Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi during March and April 2023. These Health Kiosks were strategically placed in areas with the greatest need to ensure maximum impact. This initiative was aimed at providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare services to underserved communities. By integrating technology with community healthcare, these kiosks offer a practical solution to bridge the gap in healthcare access.

Each HealthATM is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic tools, telemedicine capabilities, and integrated Electronic Health Records (EHRs). These kiosks offer an array of healthcare services such as blood pressure monitoring, glucose testing, body composition analysis, and virtual consultations with healthcare providers. Additionally, the immediate availability of health reports enhances the service’s convenience and accessibility. Reports are delivered promptly via email, WhatsApp, SMS, or printed copy, enabling individuals to review their results and take necessary actions without delay.
Impact Story
The introduction of these 44 Health Kiosks has significantly transformed the healthcare landscape in Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi. Thousands of residents now have easy access to essential healthcare services within their communities. These kiosks have reduced the need for long and costly travel to distant medical centers, allowing for timely medical consultations and diagnoses. The telemedicine features have enabled patients to consult with specialists remotely. The integration of EHRs ensures that patient data is securely stored and easily accessible to healthcare providers, improving the continuity and quality of care. This project has not only enhanced individual health outcomes but has also alleviated the pressure on traditional healthcare facilities, fostering a healthier and more informed community.
